A Letter from our Director:

Dear Parents,

The Children’s Ministries Department of the Christian Church of Bayside would like to wish you a warm welcome! Our Sunday school ministry is a place where your children can be fed: body, soul and spirit! We have a truly loving and anointed staff of trusted teachers and assistants that will care for your children while adults are attending service upstairs in our sanctuary. The Christian Church of Bayside holds true to the belief that every child, no matter how young or old, can experience the love of Jesus Christ! It is written: “From the lips of children and infants, you have ordained praise…” Psalms 8:1.

We beleive, according to God’s Word, that children are precious to the Lord. Our Sunday school program nurtures not only our children, but also the spirit of God within them. Our program begins at 10:00 am, when we begin with worship time, teaching every child how to offer praise and worship to our Lord. After that, snack or breakfast is served, giving our students time to eat and fellowship with each other. Following snack is lesson time, when the children are broken down into their classes. We offer a Tot Class, which is for ages 3 and under, a preschool class for ages 4 through 6 and an Elementary class for ages 7 and up. There are crafts, stories, songs and so many other wonderful tools that we use to teach our children about our amazing God! When attending Sunday school, all children are requested to bring a Bible and a token offering for our collection.

We hope to welcome your children into our Sunday school family!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Michele D. Shipley
Director of Children’s Ministries
